REPORT ON THE HONG KONG VOLUNTEER CORPS.

for the year April 1st 1913 to March 31st 1914.

1 Numbers.

On April 1st 1913 the total strength of the Corps was 299 and

on March 31st 1914 it was 316.

During the past year 2 members were struck off the strength

having left the Colony, 4 died, 32 resigned on leaving the

Golony and 27 in the Colony.

82 new members were enrolled.

State on April 4th 1914.

Table II shows, the, Annual Strength on 31st March each year,

the total expenditure on the dorps and the cost per head for

the years 1908 to 1913.

Lieut-Col. A. Chapman returned from leave of absence on 23rd.

September 1913.

Capt. C. V. 3. Skrinshire was granted leave of absence from

4. 6. 13 to 3. 8. 13 the duties of Commandant being taken

over by Capt. F. Armstrong and of Staff Officer by Captain

A. F. Churchill.

Surgeon-Capt. C. Forayth resigned his Commission dated 8.1.14.
